Artaine Harte SRN Dip A Phys. Physiotherapy for Animals in Cirencester & surrounding areas

I offer a professional friendly effective service specialising in small animal physiotherapy (for dogs, cats and other companion animals). I am a member of RAMP and IAAT, membership requires compliance with their professional standards including being fully qualified and insured to provide animal physiotherapy. Both associations are recognised by most major insurance companies. Treatments can only be carried out under the referral of a veterinary surgeon in respect of The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 1962.

The practice is based in and around Cirencester and Stroud but covers a wide area including Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and West Oxfordshire.

Animal Physiotherapists promote mobility, comfort, functionality, quality of life in all animals, we can also help improve performance for competitive dogs.

A full treatment will assess your animals gait, mobility, muscle balance, muscle, tendon and ligament elasticity and strength, joint and limb flexibility and range of movement and over all suppleness.
Physiotherapy can be of benefit pre and post operatively, for neurological and orthopaedic conditions, for acute or chronic conditions.

'I found Artaine through recommendation of a local vets. The service she provided was second to none! My dachshund suffered from IVDD and was seen by Artaine within a few weeks of being post op> The physiotherapy and electro-therapies taught her not only to walk again, but to grow in confidence too. Artaine was so understanding and helpful, answering any questions and giving me the advice on what was best to meet my dogs needs at home. She taught me every physio exercise which enabled Pricilla to carry on treatment at home. i am so glad we found Artaine as my dog is now thriving and her recovery is better than I or her vet ever imagined!'
